Physio: Victoria’s seizure activity has decreased in frequency, duration and intensity. Her sleep has also improved: she now falls asleep more easily and usually sleeps through the night.

Physically: Victoria’s manual skills have significantly improved in the last six months: she has perfect cortical opposition in both hands, that she is beginning to use together to perform sophisticated skills, like unscrewing a bottle. The quality of her crawling and creeping, although still not perfectly organized, has improved.

Intellectually: Victoria is making louder sounds, and more frequently. For reading, Victoria has seen over 200 cards both in German and Polish.

Socially: Victoria’s behavior, a major concern, is slowly improving: she doesn’t scream and bite as often as before beginning the program 8 months ago.

Neurological Age Changes: Victoria’s neurological age grew by 3.9 months in the past 7.5 months, making her growth almost three times faster than before the program

Physically: Carlynn crawls 700 meters and creeps 2,000 meters every day. Her right foot is less rigid; she is starting to cursive write and she is working on writing with her right hand.

Intellectually: Carlynn’s attention span is improving, and she is more aware of what is happening around her and her family. She is starting to read books: even though she still struggles with her memory, she does fine with a chapter at a time. She is now able to communicate her feelings and emotions better. Her language has also improved, both in quality and in quantity.

Socially: Parents report that Carlynn has made “tremendous improvements” in the last six months: she is more responsible and organized, and not as tense in her relationship with her family. She also has a good relationship with her best friends, and she is learning to be more considerate of what she says. She can also better sympathize with others.  

Neurological Age Changes: Carlynn’s neurological age grew of 8.5 months during the last 7.5 months, making her growth rate more than two time faster than before the program.

Physio: Lucas has not been at the doctor’s for three years: He had a severe cold in the last period, which parents were able to treat simply using homeopathy.

Physically: According to parents, “Lucas has become a great runner”; he does run 2-3 miles per day, in addition to crawling and creeping. He also recently started to take tennis lessons. His typing skills are improving.

Intellectually: Lucas seems more interested in discussing issues; he currently reads American History (7th grade book), and studies – among other - algebra.

Socially: Lucas is now better relating to his parents. A new relocation gave him the opportunity to make new friends and interact socially; he is making more efforts to control himself when it comes to dealing with conflict situations, and he had no major outbursts in this last period.

Neurological Age Changes: Neurologically, Lucas has grown 22.5 months in the past 15 months of program; his overall growth rate since the beginning of the program three years ago has been of 121.5%

Physio: Although he spent a bad winter health wise, parents report that Benjamin has been less sick this year than the year before.

Physically: Benjamin is learning to use his hands for sophisticated skills. He is more stable while trying to run, jump and go up and down the stairs.

Intellectually: Benjamin has surprised his father reading aloud the sign “one way” while driving: he had never thought him the word “way”. Father’s guess is that he can recognize at least 300 written words, although – to put it mildly – reading is not Benjamin’s favorite activity. His speech is improving, as he is communicating more and more in short sentences, but poor articulation makes it very difficult to understand him.

Socially: Benjamin is less aggressive and biting than before, but his behavior still is a major challenge. 

Neurological Age Changes: Benjamin has made 6 changes in the developmental chart in the last period, growing 7.4 neurological months in 15.5 chronological months.

Physio: Sara’s appetite has significantly improved since last year; she chews better and eats more meat.

Physically: Manually, she has started some buttoning-unbuttoning activity and she is starting to write some letters, but no complete words yet.

Intellectually: Sara’s language skills have improved a lot since the last visit, both in quality and in quantity: people can now understand her. Her concentration is also better, and she can now follow 3-step instructions.

Socially: Sara is now more independent in dressing up and taking care of her personal hygiene. She is trying to problem solve in order to help her family in daily life.

Neurological Age Changes: Sara grew 12.52 months neurologically in only 9 chronological months; her growth rate is thus more than 3 times faster than her initial rate before starting program.

Physically: Paula’s tactile skills have improved a lot, allowing her to react more appropriately to different textures, as well as to cold and hot stimulations. She is more mobile now: she crawls down the inclined plane 4 times a day; her speed is increasing, and she is able to move on the flat floor. She now grabs objects with her left hand.

Intellectually: Despite her intense and frequent seizure activity, Paula is more aware of the environment around her. She can now locate the source of a sound and look at it. The variety of sounds she emits has also improved, allowing her to express herself better.

Socially: Paula cooperates enthusiastically with the program, and she has fun doing it. Parents also report that she is more independent and sure of herself now.

Physio: Sanne doesn’t need to be tube-fed anymore: she only eats through the mouth now. As a result, she is slowly gaining weight and she is not experiencing pain anymore. She is off medications, and her spasms have reduced in intensity and durations. Her body appears less rigid and stiff. Her sleeping habits have also improved, as she sleeps better and longer.

Physically: Her energy has improved and she needs less assistance in performing some of her tasks, like sitting up.

Intellectually: Sanne can emit a greater variety of sounds, allowing her to better express what she is experiencing like tiredness, discomfort, relax...

Neurological Age Changes: In this period Sanne has achieved 6 chart changes, improving of 1.53 neurological months in a period of 6.5 months: her growth rate is almost 20 times faster than before the program.

Physio: Jesse is almost completely toilet-trained. 

Physically: Jesse crawls up to 200 meters and creeps up to 600 meters per day, with improving quality. Jesse is now eating more independently, using the fork, although he still doesn’t master the spoon yet.

Intellectually: He is now able to read his parents’ expressions and adapts his behavior after them. He now responds when his parents cry “stop” to prevent him from doing something dangerous. He is reading over 200-300 words and recognizing simple phrases. He can now better adapt to changes in his daily schedule.

Socially: Jesse is a happier kid overall, and he is not having as many temper tantrums as before. He also appears to be more independent and less repetitive in his playing. He is now playing with his neighbors’ children, throwing the ball back and forth, for example.

Neurological Age Changes: Jesse has grown 3.4 neurological months in the last 6-month period: his overall growth rate is 1.5 times faster than his initial growth rate before starting program.

Intellectually: Federico is in school with his peers, with good marks. His counselor confirms that his understanding and his expressing himself (through facilitated communication) are just like any other 19 y.o. he knows.

Socially: Federico is making more eye contact with the people around him.

Neurological Age Changes: His overall growth rate continues to be 113% faster than his initial rate before starting program.

Physically: Matthew is now able to crawl 6 to 8 feet on the flat floor now, and he can pick up an object and transfer it from hand to hand.

Intellectually: He is better at recognizing pictures now. He is also more responsive to sounds and noises, and locates their sources with more precision. He emits more sounds than before the last visit.

Socially: Matthew makes good eye contact and reaches out with his hands to others to initiate play. He transitions easily from one activity to the next one. 

Neurological Age Changes: In the last seven months, Matthew has made two changes in the developmental chart: he continues to grow more than two times faster than before the program.

Physio: Aurora has been very healthy this year (only one day of illness over a 11 month period!) and she doesn’t feel abdominal discomfort as often as before.

Physically: When standing, Aurora is more stable, and her ankles are less rigid. She crawls 100 meters and creeps 250 meters per day.

Intellectually: Aurora is following the same school curriculum as her peers, attending classes once a week. She reads and understand 3rd grade level materials in small print; she also enjoys reading magazines. Although with some difficulties, she now writes in longer sentences.

Socially: Aurora appears more self-confident in social situations.

Neurological Age Changes: In the past 11 months, Aurora was able to gain 5.9 neurological months.

Physio: Although he has been very sick, Hakon didn’t need any antibiotics in this period, which was typical for him; the quality of his night-time sleep has also greatly improved.

Physically: Hakon has made great progress in his motor skills: he is generally more mobile and explores the world around him climbing everywhere; he is a walker now, meaning that walking is his only mean of transportation. He can also go up the stairs by holding onto the hand rail.

Intellectually: His language skills have greatly improved since last visit: he has many new words and speaks in 2-3 word sentences, and his family members can understand most of what he says. Parents were happy to report that he finally says “yes”. His understanding has also improved a lot, and he can sometimes follow 2-step instructions.

Socially: Hakon is in the process of being toilet-trained.

Neurological Age Changes: Hakon has made 9 changes on the developmental chart in the past 7 months, developing his neurological age of 2.6 months. This means that he is neurologically growing almost two time faster than before the program.

Physically: Magne’s independence (in taking care of his bodily functions especially) keeps on improving: he says that he feels he controls his body better.

Intellectually: Magne enjoys reading all kinds of books, magazines and newspapers. He reads materials in Norwegian, Saami, English, Spanish and Russian. He also regularly updates his blog.

Socially: Magne was the subject of a 45’ documentary that drew a lot of attention and awareness to special-need children.

Physio: Jorn-Petter didn’t have any seizure for a record of 21 continuous days between January and February instead of the usual 1-6 per night. Even though the epileptic activity did come back, overall he has had less seizures in this past period than the previous.

Physically: In good days, Jorn-Petter has been able to creep for up to 5000 meters, beating his goal by 100 meters.

Intellectually: Jorn-Petter is trying to communicate more, he makes eye-contact more, and seems happier while communicating. In the seizure-free period he was more alert and interested in the world around him.

Socially: He likes to do the program and cooperates happily with it. He reciprocates facial expressions now.

Neurological Age Changes: Jorn-Petter has grown 6.38 chronological months since we last saw him 21 months ago. His overall growth rate is five and a half times better than before starting the program.

Physically: As a result of the brain organization program he is following, both his running and his manual skills have improved.

Intellectually: Jesus starts to vocalize while he communicates through sign language. He loves to read children’s books. He has also seen 140 words in the last period.

Socially: He is starting to get involved with other kids to play and talk. When he is told that he did something wrong, he now reacts by assuming a serious expression. 

Neurological Age Changes: Jesus has gained 6.7 neurological months in the last 7 months, achieving 4 changes in the developmental chart. His overall growth rate is more than four time faster than before the program.

Jorge Daniel S. - Mexico, 10 years and 4 months

Physically: His mobility has improved: in particular, Jorge can now run short sprints (10 meters). His manual skills have also improved, and he can now pour liquid into a glass.

Intellectually: Jorge now understands at least a thousand words and several simple phrases, and he reads at least 50 words. He is able to tell a short story.

Socially: Jorge is more empathetic when relating to others, and he takes into consideration other people’s needs.

Neurological Age Changes: This has been a very good period for Jorge: his neurological age has improved of 11.4 months in just 7.5 months, with 6 changes on the developmental chart: he is catching up with his peers and his growth rate is 3 and a half times faster than before the program.

Physio: Luis is generally less hypersensitive to sounds.

Physically: When walking, he appears to be more stable; he also tries more and more to climb up the stairs.

Intellectually: His ability to verbally communicate has improved, and his understanding is a lot better. Luis’ depth perception has significantly improved, and he can now direct his vision to an object.

Socially: Luis is much calmer and more cooperative now, although he is starting to test his social boundaries. He is also more independent in everyday life.

Neurological Age Changes: Luis has made 5 changes in the developmental chart, gaining 2 neurological months in a 7 month period.

Physio: Javier almost always sleeps and eats well

Physically: Mobility is the biggest challenge for Javier, and parents were happy to report that he is now moving his limbs more. He can now hold objects in his right hand for 3 seconds and in his left hand for up to 10 seconds, which is an excellent improvement.

Intellectually: Javier’s hearing has definitely improved: he can now locate a sound. As a result, his understanding: has also improved, allowing him to respond to oral commands and questions. He now has at least 4 meaningful words that he uses to communicate with his parents.

Neurological Age Changes: In the last 7 months, Javier has changed in 8 areas of the developmental chart, gaining 2.2 neurological months.

Physio: Despite his digestive problems, Josemaria was able to gain 1.5 kilos of bodyweight, also thanks to the fact that he now chews better. He is also less hypersensitive to sounds.

Physically: Josemaria has been moving more on the floor since the last visit. He controls better the tonic neck reflex and creeps independently as a mean of transportation for short distances. He can now grab objects with both hands. 

Intellectually: Josemaria now sees and recognizes shapes, facial expressions (at close range) and starts to perceive depth. His understanding has also improved, allowing him to better comprehend paragraphs and complex stories.

Socially: Josemaria is now more cooperative and pays more attention to the world around him. As a result of this improvement in his behavior, his sleeping pattern has also improved. He recognizes now the link between action and consequence.

Neurological Age Changes: Josemaria has been able to make 3 chart changes in the last 7 months, allowing him to grow of 0.58 neurological months.

Physio: Josael has improved his eating habits and has been able to gain 5 kg, with good digestion and elimination; his body looks more robust and healthy.

Physically: Josael has been improving his overall independence. In particular, he can now get in and out of the wheelchair and on the floor, tie his own shoes, get things from the kitchen, brush his teeth.

Intellectually: Josael keeps on studying at home, and his curriculum is now at a 3rd grade level.

Neurological Age Changes: Josael has grown 8,57 neurological months during the last 12.5 month period.

Physio: Despite some days of sickness, Valeria has been overall healthier than the previous period: parents feel that her body has more defenses now. .

Physically: Valeria’s tactile perception has greatly improved, both for vital and meaningful sensations. Her vital release is now perfect in both hands.

Intellectually: In this area, Valeria has greatly improved; her understanding is better, especially with everyday instructions (“let’s eat”, “do you want to bathe”...), which makes family life much easier and pleasant. She also laughs when other people laugh.

Socially: Valeria now cries when mom leaves; she can tell if she is being carried by a stranger or someone she knows. This is new.

Neurological Age Changes: Valeria has grown of 1.06 neurological months in the past 7-month period: her growth rate currently is 1.5 times faster than before the program.

Physio: Jorge’s health has dramatically improved over the last 6 months (this was his first period of program ever done). He sleeps better, and he shows a slight improvement in his normally very low energy levels.

Physically: Jorge is a very disciplined boy, and he crawls 250 meters and creeps 1,000 meters every day. 

Intellectually: Both his concentration and language are better. He can now recognize at least 50 words and some simple phrases.

Socially: Jorge makes eye contact now when establishing communication; he also allows his parents to involve him in games. 

Oscar M. - USA, 4 years and 10 months

Physio: Oscar is being detoxified from one of his antiepileptic medications, and his behavior is much better than before. He cooperates and doesn’t have temper tantrums anymore. 

Physically: Oscar crawls 125 meters and creeps 750 meters per day. As a result, the quality of his walking has improved.

Intellectually: Oscar is now consistently using at least 5 words of language.

Socially: Oscar is a more sociable boy now. He expresses joy when father comes home and allows others to hug him; he seeks affection more often than before. 

Neurological Age Changes: Oscar has gained 1.4 neurological months in the last 5 months period. His growth rate is therefore slightly faster (110%) than before starting the program at the Family Hope Center, and this despite his seizure disorder.

Physio: Sofia has made a lot of physiological improvement in this period: her digestion is regular, she has gained weight, she sleeps through the night, she is more alert and her mood is way better than before.

Physically: Sofia can now perfectly feel the third dimension with her tactility.

Socially: There are many improvements from a social standpoint going on: she smiles more and is more interactive; generally, she cries less.

Neurological Age Changes: In the last 7 months, Sofia has made 6 changes in the developmental chart, growing up by 0.85 neurological months. Her growth rate is therefore 2 and a half times faster than before the program. 

Physio: Oscar has been healthy the whole period.

Physically: Oscar used to cry while in the crawling track, now he doesn’t anymore, and he bends the knees, moving his limbs more and with less restriction, which is new for him. In the swimming pool, he used to cross his legs all the time: now he keeps them wide open and is learning how to move them in the water. In the prone position, he holds his head up for longer periods of time.

Intellectually: His convergence is improving, allowing him to perceive the third dimension; his understanding is also better: he understands concepts like “wait” and “don’t cry”. He emits sounds to communicate that he is hungry or he wants to eat more.

Socially: Oscar enjoys playing interactive games and he is starting to go through the phase of behavioral imitation.

Physio: Isidro’s reflux is now resolved, and he is off the anti-reflux medications; his digestion has also improved. He is less spastic than before, especially when in the water, in the hyperbaric chamber and while sleeping.

Physically: Mobility is Isidro’s biggest challenge, and he is slowly improving in this area. He is crawling in the inclined track and he doesn’t cross his legs anymore while doing so. His muscular tone is improving.

Intellectually: Isidro really enjoys his reading program, and he can read short sentences now. In doing that, he has some convergence. His understanding has also improved, and he reacts to discussions appropriately (laughing, being sad, and so on).

Socially: Isidro has began to show his likes and dislikes; he doesn’t want to be left alone.

Neurological Age Changes: Isidro has achieved 5 chart changes in the last 7 months of program, gaining 7.43 neurological months: he is catching up with his peers. His current neurological growth rate is two time faster his initial one.

Physio: Ana Sofia’s alertness has improved.

Physically: Ana Sofia currently crawls for transportation, and she is starting to clamber steps with some support. She recently took her first independent creeping steps.

Intellectually: Ana Sofia’s vision is constantly improving, and her strabismus is going from converging to alternating.

Socially: Overall, Ana Sofia is more connected, interactive, calm and cooperative. She is also less obsessive with having objects in her hand or putting her hands in the mouth.

Neurological Age Changes: Ana Sofia’s overall growth rate is 103% faster than before the program.

Physically: Nuria’s walking and running are more coordinated than before. Her manual skills are also better: she can pour liquid using a hand in a skilled role. 

Intellectually: Nuria’s speech and communication have improved, thanks to the new words she can now say. She communicate in longer sentences now. Her vision has also improved, and she follows people and objects; she can recognize shapes. Her comprehension is better, as she can follow 3-step instructions and understand time concepts such as “yesterday”, “today” and “tomorrow”.

Socially: Nuria makes eye contact now while communicating; she expresses appropriate emotions more often and likes to play and have fun with other children.

Physically: Nicholas’ overall coordination is better, and he can run with a decent cross pattern now. He has been crawling up to 100 yards and creeping for more than 500 yards per day. He is also improving in his hand skills, like dressing and undressing.

Intellectually: Although he still gets easily distracted, his attention span is clearly improving and he can now follow 3-step instructions.

Socially: Nicholas used to knock down other children’s toys. This is not the case anymore, on the contrary: he plays interactively with his classmates now.

Neurological Age Changes: Nicholas has grown 7.7 neurological months in a 7-month period, thus catching up with his peers. His growth rate is currently 150% faster than before the program.

Aurelie F. - France, 18 years and 2 months

Physio: Aurelie had her 4 wisdom teeth removed in a traumatic procedure, but – even if she needed time – she recovered well.

Physically: Her sensitivity to touch has improved, and she enjoys been caressed and touched. She feels she controls her body better.

Intellectually: Aurelie is learning to appreciate the good moments life has to offer and laughs more often; she communicates all her desires and opinions. Her reading has improved and she is now reading commercial print. Her understanding is constantly getting better, and she often surprises parents and teachers.

Neurological Age Changes: Aurelie’s neurological age has gone up by 27.9 months in the last 13.5-month period, thanks to 4 changes on the developmental chart: she is catching up with her peers.

Physio: Since starting on the FHC diet, her bowel movements have been regular and she is doing overall significantly better.

Intellectually: Cassidy is more aware of the world and the people around her. She smiles and watches at them. Mother was able to make her stop crying just by using her voice for the first time.

Neurological Age Changes: Cassidy’s overall growth rate is more than 6 times faster than before beginning the program in November 2009. In the last 6.5 months, she has made nine changes in the developmental chart, gaining 1.75 neurological months.

Physio: Keila has had only 1 day of illness in the past 6.5 months, making her the healthiest of the family. Her sleep and digestion are very regular.

Physically: Her balance has improved, and she was able to ski and skate on ice. As part of her program, she crawls 400 meters and creeps 3 km for three times a week. She runs 3.2 km, bikes 14 km and swims 500 meters in the other 2 days of physical program.

Intellectually: Keila is learning many new words, which she pronounces correctly, while the old ones keep on being distorted. Her attention is better.

Socially: In the past, Keila would run away from her parents and not listen to them calling: this has greatly changed, something that her parents really appreciate. She can now tolerate to participate to a regular after school activity for more than one hour and a half; before it was no more than 30 minutes. She can now tell if she does something wrong, and even go to parents and say “I’ve done something stupid”.

Neurological Age Changes: Keila has grown 7.8 neurological months in the last 6.5 month period, allowing her to catch up with her well peers and reduce the severity of her brain injury from severe to moderate on the developmental chart.

Physio: Nate has been completely detoxicated from one of his seizure medications and his parents are lowering the intake of his second antiepileptic drug; his seizures are less frequent and intense than before, and last only a few seconds. His occasional longer seizures do not require any medication.

Physically: Nate is moving again, crawling and creeping. He tries to stand up. His perception of pain is now perfect all over his body.

Intellectually: Nate is preparing to go back to school.

Socially: Nate enjoys being around other children of his age.

Physio: Tobias is almost completely detoxicated from all the antiepileptic medications he was taking, and he has only some mild seizures, and not every day. As a result, his energy and alertness are much better now, as well as his reflexes. He started swallowing pureed food in December, and he is now chewing, and he can tell the difference in density of what he has in his mouth and swallow or chew accordingly. He can feel its temperature; he is also expressing food preferences, the same he had before the injury occurred. He has been healthy for the entire winter.

Physically: Tobias is moving his upper limbs and his toes for the first time. He can hold his head up and keep his balance while riding on a horse with mom.

Intellectually: Tobias is now reacting to sudden noises, and his pupils are contracting. He can feel and show pain now. He has two noises now (he had one before the injury occurred): this is all new. 

Socially: He has started to show more preference and is enjoying company. He is showing more enjoyment in general in his daily life.   

Neurological Age Changes: At his initial visit, Tobias’ neurological growth rate was 2.45%. At this visit, Tobias has made 5 changes on the chart, and his current growth rate is 16.5%: this is more than 60 times faster than before the program. 

Physically: His rigidity has decreased since beginning the program 7 months ago. He can now feel and react to cold. His left hand has a strong grasp reflex now.

Intellectually: Midia react to sounds now, and he emits sounds as a response. He smiles when helpers talk to him. He had a beautiful birthday celebration, and he showed all his happiness through laughing and smiling. He reacts to the absence and presence of mother now. 

Socially: Midia is showing more signs to be content and happy. He is glad to have opportunities to be active in his daily program. This helps him to be less stressed.

Neurological Age Changes: At the beginning of the program, less than 7 months ago, Midia’s neurological age was 1.9 months. At this visit, Midia has made 7 changes on the chart, and his neurological age is now 2.97 months. In other words, he is developing more than 20 times faster than before the program. 

Physio: His digestion has improved a lot, and he is no longer constipated; all the family was sick at one point, and Nils was the only one who stayed healthy. In fact, he has been perfectly healthy the whole period.

Physically: Nils is now crawling around the house for transportation, with better quality, speed and quantity. He holds his head up now, while in the prone position

Intellectually: Although there are no true words yet, Nils is babbling more than before. His depth perception is improving, allowing him to grab wooden sticks from a wooden table. He reacts quickly to new sounds, and tries constantly to emit new sounds.

Socially: Nils is paying more attention to the people around him, and is excited when some friends come over.

Neurological Age Changes: Nils has made 7 chart changes, neurologically developing of 2.74 neurological months. His overall growth rate is 3 times better than his initial rate before starting program five months ago.

Physio: Except for minor sicknesses, he has been very healthy in the last period.

Physically: Laramy used to be very insensate, but now he can perfectly feel cold and pain, especially in the legs. His crawling over obstacles has improved, as he is less rigid. He can now sit up better. He is also starting to undress by himself.

Intellectually: His vocabulary is constantly increasing, allowing him to be amusing at times. He is being introduced to words, letters and numbers.

Socially: Laramy is verbally expressing strong emotions.

Neurological Age Changes: In the past 7.5-month period, he has grown 6.5 neurological months. This means that his growth rate has doubled in speed. Moreover, his brain injury has changed from moderate to mild.

Physio: Chadwyn has an healthy appetite, and he has gained a pound. He was healthy most of the winter. He now sleeps in the night, generally waking up only once, which is a huge improvement, as last year he just couldn’t make any sense of day and night, and was often up all night long.

Physically: Despite his tightness, he moves his limbs more. His grasp reflex is developing.

Intellectually: Parents report that Chadwyn can now see more details and understand what he is being said: if they say that it is time to eat, for example, he sticks out his tongue. He likes to follow a conversation and loves to respond by smiling and emitting sounds. He can also see better, including recognizing facial expressions: he loves to look at funny faces. His convergence has improved.

Physio: Javier has been very healthy this period.

Physically: He has been running better and is generally more coordinated. He has been writing more as well.

Intellectually: His vision has improved, as he perceives depth perception better. He is reading more words and reading early reader books better than before. He is more focused and he is following instructions better. He has better spatial awareness and is starting to get concepts of math. His language is better and he is better understood by people that don’t know him.

Socially: He is transitioning from one situation to another much better now. He no longer has big tantrums as before. His eye contact has improved and he is less aggressive. At his last visit he would get angry and frustrated 3 times a week and now at most it will be 1 time. If he does get upset, it is easier to calm him down. He is now also starting to feel true remorse. 

Noah S. – USA   22 months

Physio: His seizures are less intense and he has been gaining weight.

Physically: Noah is much looser and he is moving better down an inclined floor and smile when he gets to the bottom. He has loved the swimming.

Physio: Overall he has been in good health. 

Physically: Taylor is more coordinated and has been riding a bike well.

Physio: Keila has been more calm, focused and in good health.

Physio: Overall Isaiah has been calmer. His sleep has been better as well.

Physically: She is better balance and more coordinated overall. She is also continuing to draw well and is starting to write.

She is following basic board games better at home and is more patient to listen to stories. She is telling stories well compared to her peers and is better at sequencing events that happened.

Taylor T. - USA 11 years 9 months

Physio: Taylor has been generally in good health this period. His digestion is better. He has been sleeping well and his appetite is good.

Intellectually: He is identifying words more consistently. He is much more aware of the schedule in his day. He has been problem solving more in finding ways to get parents’ attention when he wants something. Socially: Taylor is showing more emotions and for the first time will be aware he is alone in the room and get upset. If a toy is broken, he will now bring it to parents. He will come over now and show parents he wants to help- but doesn’t know how yet.

Physio: Overall her health has been pretty good and she is sleeping well.

Physically: She has been trying to stand more on her own for several seconds.

David R. - USA 5 years

Physio: He has been calmer and has been in good health.

Physically: He is running better and he is using his hands better.

Intellectually: He is matching pictures with words more consistently and he can identify most of his letters and numbers. He enjoys being read to Dr. Seuss books. He is starting to have better spatial awareness. He is more aware of people talking about him and he will cover his ears. He understands the weekly routine better now and will get upset if something has changed. He has been communicating more via a talking device and at home he has been repeating words more. He has been babbling a lot more but also is saying meaningful words more consistently. 

Socially: He is much more aware of things happening around him and he has been much more curious in new environments. He has been giving more eye contact and he is showing more interest in what his brother is doing. Enjoys riding his bike on the playground. He will now express frustration when told no or when he does not want to do something. He is also starting to imitate behavior more.

Physio: K. has been in great health and he has made great gains in eating and drinking. He also has been swallowing much better.

Socially: He has started to show more preference and is enjoying company. He is showing more enjoyment in general in his daily life.   

Patrick J. - Canada 15 years

Physio: Patrick’s health has been good and he has lost 45 pounds since starting the program. 

Physically: It is easier for him to get around and he has been enjoying learning new activities such as skating. He is running much better and can now hop on one foot.

Intellectually: His understanding is much better and he is more focused. He is also less bothered by sounds. He is speaking in longer sentences and his conversations are more of exchanges with other people which he did not do before. When he is talking about something he did yesterday, he is giving more detail. He also has been giving more insight when he talks about things he notices. 

Socially: He has been showing more affection and getting along better with his family. He was able to spend at least 3 hours out with Dad one day, which wasn’t possible without a problem last time. They had a great time. He has been showing more concern for others. He will learn how to do new things when others show him how to do it. He has been experimenting a lot more with different objects. His eye contact has improved and he doesn’t get as easily upset as before. In fact he hasn’t had a melt down in 3-4 months. He is feeling more pride and remorse and sees the connection between his behavior and consequences.

Valmai T. - Norway 10 years

Physio: Valmai has been in good health and hasn’t had any seizures. His appetite has been good and his digestion is doing well. 

Physically: His rigidity is much less. His creeping has continued to improve. His physical structure has been much better this period. His manual function also has improved and he is writing better.

Intellectually: His reading continues to be at peer level and his understanding has been continuing to develop well. His language is continuing to get better.

Socially: His behavior has been much better and he is more mature in his conduct. He no longer cries as easily as before.

Neurological Age Changes:His overall growth rate is 155% better than his initial rate before starting program a year and a half ago.

Physio: Gabbi’s health has been better. She had last visit a draining fistula, which no has healed nicely. 

Physically: She has been starting to take her first steps and she is more coordinated in her movement.

Intellectually: She is following basic instructions better. If something changes in her daily routine, she will get confused therefore she is more aware of her day. She understands a two-step sequence of events that is supposed to happen in the day. She has been saying more consonant sounds.

Socially: She understands more the connection between her behavior and consequences.

Torin E. - USA 7 years

Physio: Torin’s health has been generally good this past period.

Physically: He is better at following the rules and playing sports games such as soccer and his ability to learn sports is quicker than before as well.

Intellectually: His reading is continuing to improve. He also understands different concepts better. In his speech he has been using a lot more metaphors and has been speaking more in paragraphs. His explanation of events is more detailed and longer.

Socially: He has much better control of his emotions. He has been problem solving a lot more at home. He will propose parents more ideas on how to fix a situation. Overall he has been expressing his emotions much better. He has been seeking and figuring out better how he can be part of another group of kids. He has developed different levels of friendships with different friends and he has been better at differing gratification. 

Neurological Age Changes: His overall growth rate since starting program is 155%, which is 285% percent better than his initial rate at his first evaluation almost two years ago.

Connor T. - USA 4 years

Physio: His health has been generally good since his last visit.

Physically: He is enjoying games such as Volleyball and Basketball.

Intellectually: His reading is continuing to improve. He is following instructions is better and he is following checklists up to 12 items. He is communicating more meaningfully.

Socially: He has been trying to join groups more. He has been taking more care and looking out for his Nephew. 

Physio: Overall Gideon is a happier child and his mood has been better.

Physically: He has been creeping more consistently as a means of transportation.

Intellectually: He has been differentiating pictures of people lately and he understands more basic commands. He is expecting more things to happen when they should in his day. He has been making more sounds as well.

Socially: He has been smiling in response to a smile more consistently with very close family members and has been testing boundaries and asserting his position more. Overall he has been showing more happiness and has showed more interest in new toys and objects. 

Jonathan R. - Denmark 1 year

Physio: Overall his health has been good this period.

Physically: He has been using his legs more when crawling down the incline floor. His manual function also has improved.

Intellectually: He is more curious of his environment and he is trying to examine things more with his vision. His ability to track lights and toys has improved. He has been reacting to and understanding more words and events in his day. He has started to make news sounds as well.

Socially: He is more interested in people around him. He is also a happier child.

Neurological Age Changes: His growth rate this period has been over 100% better than his initial growth rate before starting program 5 months ago.

Pedro H. - Colombia 15 years

Physio: Pedro’s health has been well and his seizures have been significantly less.

Physically: He has been enjoying swimming and playing squash. He ran two 10-kilometer races and was able to cut off 8 minutes on his second race. He is more coordinated in his mobility and has better posture.

Intellectually: He is better at identifying letters and numbers and he is better at identifying certain words. He has a better concept of what happened yesterday vs. today and will get what is to happen tomorrow. He is more consistent at following 3 step instructions He also understands better stories that are read to him and can maintain his focus longer.  His conversation is 50% more relevant to what is happening at the time. He can explain things such as movies and stories better.

Socially: He feels remorse now and in general he is more aware of how his emotions affect him. 

Neurological Age Changes: His overall growth rate is at 108%, which is 428% better than her initial growth rate before starting program a year ago.

Amelia R. - Norway 7 years

Physio: Amelia has had excellent health this period.

Physically: Her balance and coordination have improved and she has learned to ride a bike. Manually, it is easier for her to undress herself.

Intellectually: She has been getting better at matching words with objects. Her ability in identifying letters and numbers also has improved. She is more focused and can follow instructions better. She is better able to sit and listen to a story. She is more comfortable with the routine in her day and she understands better what is said to her in daily life. She has been repeating a lot more words. She can say the name of animals and will say the first part of their name. To others her babbling now seems it is more meaningful as she was asking for something or trying to explain something. She will now say “I don’t” or “Don’t want” when doing parts of her program she does not like!

Socially: She has been smiling more in response to a smile. She has been missing parents more when they are not around. She has also been asserting her position more and she is much less passive. She has been starting to imitate behavior and she has been enjoying interactive games more. She has shown more concern and has been looking out for her little cousin more. 
Neurological Age Changes: Her overall growth rate is 134% better than her initial rate before starting program six and a half months ago.

Physically: Laerke has been crawling out of her bed at times. She is swimming better. She has better endurance in her physical program. She is now able to throw a ball and play catch.

Intellectually: She is much more cooperative in her education program. She also has been starting to type independently. She is continuing to do well with her reading.

Socially: Laerke is less sensitive when she sees dangerous things happen on the television. She is smiling more to other people and her eye contact has been a little better. She is doing better understanding and playing games with others.

Physically: He is using his hands a little better.

Intellectually: He is reacting more to sounds in his environment and he understands many more words. He is following basic requests better. He is starting to say yes and no.

Socially: He has more preferences now. He is seeking and trying to give more affection. He likes to be chased by other children at the pool. He is transitioning better from one situation to the next. He is more aware generally of what is happening around him and what others are doing.

Neurological Age Changes: His current growth rate is 194% faster than his initial rate before starting program.

Physically: Overall she is looser making it easier for her to move. Her knees are also much straighter. She has better control of her arms and she also has better head control.

Intellectually: She is continuing to read well. She is much more attentive during the day and is following instructions better. Her understanding continues to be at age level. He has been talking a little bit more and her language has been clearer.

Socially: She has been problem solving a lot more for herself and others. She is much more cooperative. She has been able to communicate her feelings in much more detail. She also often has expressed her happiness for other people’s joy.

Neurological Age Changes: Her overall growth rate continues to be 160% better than her initial rate before starting program.

Physically: She is moving more on the floor and starting to use it as a means of transportation.

Intellectually: She is handling sounds she hears in her environment much better. She is locating sounds better and appreciating voice inflection better. She has been babbling more.

Socially: She is more emotionally attached to the family and has been smiling more to people who are less familiar. She has been imitating behavior more and much happier in the day. She has been just starting to play with a toy by herself.

Neurological Age Changes: Her current growth rate is 389% faster than her initial rate before starting program.

Physically: He is physically stronger and has much better confidence in his physical activities.

Intellectually: His reading is getting better and enjoys this more. He is a little better at following instructions. He is less sensitive to sounds and he understands the material in school very well. His language has improved as well and he is better at explaining things that happened.

Socially: He is better behaved with other children and adults. He has been much more self-confident and does not get as over upset. If he is upset, it is easier for him to calm himself. He is better self-motivated in life as well.

Neurological Age Changes: His overall growth rate is 171% and when starting program he had an initial rate of 47.3%

Intellectually: Benjamin is doing well with his reading and enjoying it. His understanding continues to be equal to his peers. His language has improved as well. He is trying to talk a lot more than in the past.

Socially: He is continuing to do well socially at home and is close to his peers.

Physically: He is physically getting stronger. His creeping has improved and he is better at pulling himself up on his knees.

Intellectually: He is better at understanding the difference between yesterday today and tomorrow. It is easier for his parents to explain him things throughout the day. He is better at identifying words. He’s been using his language more in daily life.

Socially: He is showing more of a variety of facial expressions to Mother. He has been enjoying social experiences such as watching television with his brother and friend. He is better at occupying himself when bored. He is transitioning much better from one situation to the other. His eye contact is much better. If his brother suggests it to him, he would like to help set the table.

Neurological Age Changes: His overall growth rate is at least 2 times as fast as his initial rate before starting program.

Physically: She is more stable when she walks and runs. She has been walking more on uneven terrains and has not been falling as much.

Intellectually: She is better concentrated and she is reacting better to pictures describing activities she is to do. She is following basic instructions more consistently and she is much more comfortable with many different sounds.

Socially: She has been interacting more with parents. Her eye contact has improved and when she gets upset it’s easier for Mother to calm her down. She has been better at playing with her sister and she has started to help set the table a bit without being asked.

Neurological Age Changes: Her overall growth rate is still 179% faster than her initial rate before starting program.

Physically: His running has improved and he is overall better coordinated. He is also using his hands better when he is dressing and undressing.

Intellectually: He can be left alone safely for longer periods of time and is starting to understand basic games better and has a better grasp of time concepts. He is also a little more consistent in following instructions. It is easier to have a conversation with him, as he is better at staying on topic when spoken to. He also initiates topics of conversation more. He is better at describing things that have happened and his pronunciation of words is much better. He also is more consistent in identifying words.

Socially: He is showing more facial expressions and his eye contact also has improved. His ability to transition from one situation to the next is also much better and is showing more self-confidence. He is showing more of a variety of emotions and is more aware of others emotions around him as well as his own. He also has become better at playing with one or two other children.

Neurological Age Changes: This period his growth rate has been 116%. His overall growth rate is now 122%, which is 168% faster than his initial rate before starting program!

Physically: He is crawling much better and over obstacles as well. He crawls as a means of transport and has now been able to creep 100 meters non-stop with little support. He also has been standing for longer periods of time holding a bar. He is using his hands better and can more easily pass an object from one hand to the other.

Intellectually: His reading has improved and he is reading 1st-2nd grade materials as well as working on 3rd grade mathematics. His understanding is equal to his peers and he is asking more and more questions when something is not clear. He is speaking more loudly and his words are clearer.

Socially: His ability to transition from one situation to the other has improved and has improved in his social maturity. He has much better self-confidence and is very responsible about completing his program, as he knows it’s very important to him.

Neurological Age Changes: This period his growth rate has been 187%. His overall growth rate since starting program has been 140%. This is 368% faster than his initial growth rate before starting program!

Physically: She has been creeping everywhere. Her sensation also has improved and she is more ticklish now.

Intellectually: She is following instructions more consistently and she is enjoying being read to more than before. She has also been good at following the rules that parents have established for her. She has been making more sounds and her voice is louder than it was before. She has 4 words that she uses.

Socially: Her eye contact has improved and now she is more willing to join a group and see what others are doing instead of standing by and observing.

Neurological Age Changes: Her overall growth rate is still 147 % faster than her initial rate before starting program.

Physically: She has been using her hands more to grab on to things.

Intellectually: She has been starting to imitate sounds. She understands more words and is more alert throughout the day.

Socially: She is more curious in newer environments and listens to the new sounds in the environment. Has been smiling more consistently to happy tones of voice. She also is more aware of other children that may be around her.

Physically: Frederik is now walking 1.5 kilometers a day and can walk 40 meters easily without losing balance. Manually he is also helping more with dressing and undressing. He generally has a lot more self-confidence in his physical abilities.

Intellectually: He is enjoying his reading program and he is identifying words and reading short phrases. He has been learning his numbers and appreciating more explanations of various different things from parents. He is talking much more as well and starting to speak in short sentences.

Socially: He has been seeking more independence. He is responding a little more to facial expressions. He enjoys pretending he is a doctor or someone else. He is also sharing well and understanding the connection between his behavior and consequences more.

Neurological Age Changes: This period his growth rate has been 112% and his overall growth rate since starting the program has been 114% thus 178% faster than his initial growth rate of 64%.

Physically: He is now walking independently. He has also gained some manual ability as well.

Intellectually: Isak is doing well following 3rd to 4th grade material and answers questions about 95% correctly. He understands conversations in more depth and can follow when more people are involved. He has been saying his words a little more clearly and consistently.

Socially: He is smiling much more at other people. His eye contact also has improved. He enjoys watching other children play around him.

Socially: His eye contact has improved and his outbursts are not as intense as before. He is more aware of what he may have done wrong and now is better able to verbally express himself. He is also more willing to serve others such as his brother and other familiar people.

Physically: She has been creeping everywhere. Her sensation also has improved and she is more ticklish now.

Intellectually: His reading is progressing well and he is enjoying his education program. He is following instructions better. He is more patient and can listen to stories for longer periods of time. His language has been a little longer. His writing continues to be above age level and he is taking more initiative in his writing.

Socially: His is much better at reciprocating expressions. His eye contact also has improved and overall he is expressing his emotions much better in daily life. He also has been spontaneously helping a bit more at home. He is much more aware of danger. He can notice when a child is doing something bad and will suggest that they not do that.

Neurological Age Changes: His overall growth rate is 124% since starting program, which is 200% better than his initial rate before starting program.

Physically: She is better at grabbing different objects.

Intellectually: She is identifying images pretty consistently now. She is better at interpreting tones of voice and she understands more basic statements and instructions. She is making more sounds and communicating a little more for her needs.

Socially: She is much more aware of relationships in daily life. She is starting to cry if parents leave the house. She also has been making others aware that she is being ignored. She is showing many more emotions and has started to test parents more.

Neurological Age Changes: Her current growth rate is 136% better than her initial rate before starting program.

Physically: He has been very active this period and has been running, jumping and biking a lot. He has been able to hop a little on one foot.

Intellectually: He is better in noisy crowds and he tolerates certain sounds better. He is following longer instructions better and is doing well learning. His ability to remain concentrated also has improved. He is speaking in longer phrases and he can better explain things he likes.

Socially: He is continuing to do well socially and is better at daily problem solving. He will sometimes share with another child if he trusts him.

Physically: She has improved in her crawling, swimming and walking. Now she will walk over doorsteps and different changes in surface.

Intellectually: Anna is choosing words and pictures more consistently. She enjoys listening to stories more. She is better at following simple instructions and has begun to listen in on conversations. She is making more sounds on a daily basis and is trying to communicate more.

Socially: She is interacting much better when playing a game with her. She has been testing boundaries more with parents and other people.

Neurological Age Changes: Her overall rate is still 114% faster than her initial growth rate before starting program.

Physically: She is better at holding her head up and she is more comfortable when placed on the floor.

Intellectually: She is understanding basic instructions better and many more daily words. She has been starting to babble a lot more and will raise her voice when upset. She’ll also make a variety of complaining sounds instead of just crying now. She now has a better variety of sounds that express her mood.

Socially: She has been in a much better mood and smiling for the first time. She is enjoying happy moments with parents. She will also be more attentive to new environments and focus in on new sounds and be interested.

Physically: Her walking is more stable. She is walking on uneven terrain and this has been easier for her. She is less hesitant walking from one surface to the other. She is almost running now. She also has been using her hands a little more.

Intellectually: She is more responsive to different sounds in her environment. She is better at understanding concepts like on top of below. She has been able to do some three-step instructions at home. She also is more willing to listen to a short story and she is picking up on more conversations happening around her. She has been much more talkative. She has started to speak in basic couplets and her words are clearer as well.

Socially: She is reacting more to different facial expressions and transitioning better from one situation to another. She is now much more patient and will accept to wait a little while. Overall, she is less easily upset and easier to handle in those situations. She will now share with other kids and she is seeing the connection between her behavior and the related consequences.

Neurological Age Changes: Her overall growth rate is still 140% faster than her initial growth rate before starting the program.

Physically: She is able to creep better with less support. She is now able to pedal bike pedals. She can also drink from a glass with some help. She can also eat with a fork in her left hand. She can hold up her head better.

Intellectually: Emilie is doing well with her reading and education and enjoys reading. She understands well and better at following instructions. She has been speaking more and speaks about 20 words per week. She has been communicating more with her family.

Socially: She is showing more of a range of emotions including, glee, rage, jealousy, happiness and sympathy. She is doing quite well socially and tries hard to do her program.

Physically: His running has improved a little and he is better at hopping on one foot.

Intellectually: His reading continues to improve and he is following instructions more consistently. He is doing well in kindergarten and enjoys listening to adventure stories. He is speaking more clearly and it is a little easier for him to not get distracted and stay on subject.

Socially: Socially he is doing much better. He now understands the relationship between his behavior and consequences. He is easier to redirect towards what the group is doing. He is doing better being in larger groups of kids. He has been problem solving more for the family.

Neurological Age Changes: This period his growth rate has been 127% and his overall growth rate is 179%.

Physically: He is continuing to work hard to crawl. He can hold the quad position for 2 minutes. It is easier for him to hold onto things and he is trying more to use his hands for craftwork and play.

Intellectually: Intellectually he is doing very well. He is involved more in conversations and he is doing better following more complicated stories. He is enjoying more fantasy books. He has been communicating a lot more via a communication device. Before he would only communicate with the help of Mom, but now he is willing to work with one of his helpers and other people as well. He is babbling a lot more when trying to sing and some of his words are clearer.

Socially: He is very compassionate and understanding with everyone around him. He really tries to consider the needs of everyone. Through his facilitated communication he does demonstrate a good social understanding of others and their needs.

Physically: Otilia has learned how to swim independently and is proud of it! She is writing and willing to write a little more.

Intellectually: Her reading is going well and she is quickly following directions now. She is following more complex instructions and needs less re-explaining. She is following more sophisticated movies and appreciates explanations of unexpected things that happen in the day. Her language is a little clearer.

Socially: She is responding much better to facial expressions. Her tantrums are not as intense and last shorter than before. They also happen less often. She has started to problem solve more for herself and a little for the family. She will get other peoples’ things for them when everyone is leaving the house.

Neurological Age Changes: Her overall growth rate is 194% faster than her initial rate before starting program almost 2 years ago.

Physically: He has become better in his physical activities and is overall more coordinated.

Intellectually: Marius is better at following instructions and has been generally more cooperative throughout the day. He is getting a better grasp of yesterday, today and tomorrow and he also understands concepts like on top, under and next to better. He has been using his words in language more appropriately during the day.

Socially: Because he is in less pain, Marius has been much more pleasant throughout the day and he is therefore more calm. He has been showing better awareness, improved eye contact and he is reciprocating facial expressions more consistently.

Neurological Age Changes: His overall rate of progress is still 234% faster than his initial rate before starting program.

Physically: Otilia has learned how to swim independently and is proud of it! She is writing and willing to write a little more.

Intellectually: He is much more calm and less hyperactive. As a result, he is much better in kindergarten.

Socially: He is better able to express his needs and emotions. He now has friends over to his home and in general has more friends in the neighborhood and school. Since he is much more calm as a result of the diet, Parents can take him to social events without having to worry that they will have to leave.

Physically: She has been creeping 1.5 miles a day. She is beginning to try and stand up and is constantly trying to cruise around the house using furniture as support.

Intellectually: She has gotten much better at identifying words and her understanding is continuing to improve. She is relating different events in the day better and remembering where she left some of her toys.

Neurological Age Changes: Her overall growth rate is still 140% faster than her initial growth rate before starting program.

Physically: He is moving down the incline floor for the first time in his life and parents are happy! He is better coordinated and can more easily move his body. He is holding his toys better.

Physically: Henrik is much more coordinated in his movement. He now understands if he moves he is able to get to something. This is fantastic!

Intellectually: Henrik’s vision continues to improve and he is tracking many things more consistently now. His understanding has improved as well. He knows what is expected form him in different parts of the program. He also understands a lot more of what is being said to him throughout the day. He has been trying to answer yes to different things asked to him.

Socially: His overall a much happier child now and he tries to get parents to play with him. He is more outgoing with his family and enjoying himself with the time they spend together.

Physically: Romane is looser and she can more easily move her arms. It has been easier for her to crawl down an inclined surface.

Intellectually: She is better at tracking people and looking at images. She is listening more attentively to stories and anticipating the next part in the story to come. She is following instructions better and she is getting a better understanding of when tomorrow is compared to today. She is babbling a lot more and has occasionally said yes and mama.

Socially: She is missing her brother more when he goes away.  She is generally enjoying more being around her brothers. She will call people who were playing with her back into the room. She understands that she is to be nice to others and not complain. 

Physically: He is almost running now and is generally more coordinated. He is also using his hands better in daily life.

Intellectually: He is better at identifying words and matching them to pictures. He is better at understanding different tones of voice. He is following many one step instructions and daily explanations as well. His language also has improved.

Socially: Kasper is transitioning better in daily life. He is playing more with children he knows. He has started to show a little pride now when he knows he did something well.

Neurological Age Changes: His overall growth rate is 84.7%, which is 596% faster than his initial rate before starting program!!!

Intellectually: He is continuing to read above his peer level and doing well academically- overall he is maintaining 90% in his examinations.

Socially: He can remain calmer when around his peers. He is doing well in his class and not being disruptive. He is more socially aware and relaxed.

Neurological Age Changes: Elia’s overall growth rate continues to be329% than his initial rate before starting program.

Physically: Overall he is looser in his body particularly his hands. He is now eager to try and move again.

Intellectually: Intellectually he is following instructions better and he is more patient to listen to a story that is read to him. He is answering questions about audio books he hears more consistently. 

Socially: He has been doing a lot more fantasy play and he is showing more interest in new things. He feels more pride about things he accomplishes. He has been defending others more and he has a better understanding between his behavior and consequences.

Neurological Age Changes: His current growth rate is 395% better than his initial rate before starting program.

Physically: She is much more stable in her walking and therefore, more confident.

Intellectually: Her reading continues to improve and she has been communicating more by spelling out more words. She also has been speaking more and she has a greater understanding of what is happening around her during the day. As a result of this improvement, she is also following instructions better. She is better at understanding how to play some games. She also is starting to understand basic math concepts.

Socially: Socially, Ingeborg is continuing to do well. She is starting to help out more at home and has been doing a lot more problem solving without being asked. She is better at changing her behavior.

Neurological Age Changes: This period her growth rate has been 114%. Her overall growth rate is 80%, which is two times faster than her initial growth rate before starting program.

Physically: Her balance has improved a lot and she is walking independently. She also is able to write a few words and draw faces.

Intellectually: She is understanding equal to her sister and capturing well what is said in conversations. She has been signing more and saying some new words.

Socially: Sofie is continuing to progress socially and is better at recognizing when there is a problem at home or at school.

Physically: It’s been easier for her to move her arms and legs because she is a little looser and has more strength.

Intellectually: She is seeing outline shapes better. She also understands more words and basic requests. She has been making a lot more happy sounds to parents. She is making sounds more often and her volume is louder as well.

Socially: She has been imitating behavior more and she realizes when parents go away from her. She also reacts more when grandparents visit.

Physically: He can crawl down an incline floor. He is playing more with his hands.

Intellectually: He is much more present. He also has been making more sounds. After starting the program he understands his name and couple other words as before he didn’t understand anything.

Socially: He is smiling a lot more and laughing as well.

Physically: Physically, Henrik is continuing to do well. He is also writing more than before. He has also been talking more.

Intellectually: Henrik is following instructions better at home. He understands conversations happening around him more.

Socially: Henrik has been more interactive with others. He is much better at explaining how and why he feels a certain way. He has become better at deferring gratification and is getting along better with other children.

Neurological Age Changes: His overall growth rate continues to be 109%

Physically: Physically she continues to do well and overall is less rigid in her movements. This has made running and dancing much better for her.

Intellectually: She is reading better and understanding more in daily life. She is speaking in longer sentences and her problem solving skills have greatly improved. She can now follow a basic recipe to prepare a basic meal. Silje is also much more attentive.

Socially: Silje has better self-confidence and she is more patient. She will allow others to express their ideas and she is more mature towards others. She has been helping mother at home more with different activities.

Neurological Age Changes: Her growth rate this period has been 108% and overall, since starting program, her rate has been 198%. This is 388% better than her initial rate of growth when we first saw her.

Physically: Ida is much looser and has had better arm control this past period. She has been able to creep longer distances and is gradually regaining strength.

Intellectually: Her understanding continues to be excellent and she is learning well what mother teaches her. Her language is more clear and appropriate.

Socially: She gets less easily upset and when she is upset it is much easier for her to calm down.
