Arthrogryposis

Another Story
family Aspergers - "makes eye contact, accepts touches, concentration has improved, shows an increased memory, verbal communication has vastly improved."

This testimony of Kaleb Isbill with arthrogryposis shows the difference between treating attention disorders with drugs and the results of the treatments and therapies at Family Hope Center.

Kaleb Isbill

kaleb_isbillKaleb was born with arthrogryposis (multiple joint contractures). He had obvious physical deformities, but we didn't realize he had neurological delays until he was in kindergarten. By the time he reached 2nd grade, he was struggling hard to keep up with schoolwork. He was always tired and missed a lot of school due to illness. Our doctor prescribed medication to help his attention span. The side effects were terrible, so we discontinued it. We knew we had to do something different, and then we heard about The Family Hope Center. It was an answer to a prayer.

Since we've been doing the program, Kaleb has made great improvements. Physically, he is stronger, more coordinated, and works at a higher energy level. Mentally, he shows more organizational skills, including reading at a higher grade level, and being able not only to understand, but also to retain mathematical theories and apply them. Kaleb has gained confidence in himself and has become more socially aware than before.

Family Hope is not only the name of the center, it is their main product. Kaleb's future, our whole family's future, is brighter because of the Center and its program.
