ADD Testimonial
In this ADD testimonial you will meet a child diagnosed with ADD as well as Aspergers who is brought to Family Hope Center.
My 8-year old son was diagnosed with ADD and traits of Aspergers. His expressive language, eye contact, and short-term memory were poor. He drooled, slouched, fatigued when writing, and experienced great discomfort when being touched. He had difficulty maintaining attention, and filtering out distractions, and was unable to engage others appropriately. He received speech and occupational therapy, resource room and social skills training with limited success. His therapists said his issues would improve but never go away.
After 1½ years following only a portion of my son’s prescribed FHC program, his progress has been dramatic. Today he communicates clearly, and looks you straight in the eye more often. His short-term memory has improved. He rarely drools, has good posture, writes equivalently to his peers, and has little sensitivity to touch. His concentration has increased, even when distractions are present. He is engaging and socially appropriate most of the time.
Such progress gives me strong reason to believe that upon following the prescribed FHC program to a tee, my son’s challenges will be resolved for good.
