Primarily our objectives are to teach parents how to work with their children to achieve complete wellness. This includes, but is not limited to, teaching parents whose children are blind for neurological reasons to help them see, who are deaf for neurological reasons to hear, who are paralyzed for neurological reasons to walk, who cannot read to read superbly, who are learning disabled to be above average in their understanding, who cannot speak for neurological reasons to say their first of many words, and who are having seizures and on anti-convulsant medication to improve their brain function and physiology, thereby reducing seizure activity and the need for seizure medication. In short, our objective is to greatly improve the physiological, physical, intellectual and social abilities of each child.

What We Do at The Family Hope Center

The Team of The Family Hope Center, with parental involvement, performs an extensive neurological evaluation of all the sensory and motor pathways of the child. We explain in detail the location, degree, extent and nature of the child’s injury.

Regardless of the severity of the injury, the Team next designs and instructs the parents in an intensive step-by-step, hands-on, comprehensive home treatment program to heal their child.

Parents return with their children every 6 months for re-evaluation, and to receive a summary of their child’s neurological progress. The parents then learn new information on brain growth, and receive the next level of a personalized, comprehensive home treatment program based on the child’s progress towards wellness. Between visits the Team gives the parents the unlimited, ongoing support they need in order to succeed.
