The Art of The Family Hope Center

The artwork of The Family Hope Center is on display throughout the offices and clinic in Blue bell, PA. Commissioned by The Family Hope Center, all the artwork here is by famed Philadelphia artist, Monica Armstrong. Monica studied painting at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and is a graduate of Moore College of Art. She was commissioned to design and paint many public murals while living in the San Francisco Bay area in the 1980s. Her work is in many collections and has been exhibited in over 75 shows regionally and nationally. Monica has received numerous awards, including First Prize from the Philadelphia Sketch Club, Abington Art Center and the San Francisco Art Commission. She was a founding member of the MUSE Gallery, a cooperative, and former Coordinator of Philadelphia Chapter of the WCA. Monica’s studio/gallery and home are in Philadelphia. More of Monica Armstrong’s work can be found at www.monicaarmstrong.com.

"Jungle Joy" by Monica Armstrong

The  “centerpiece” of the  Family Hope Center is Jungle Joy, a full-sized mural measuring approximately 10′ high by over 60 feet long, covering the 3 walls of our therapy room. “Jungle Joy” also welcomes families and visitors in the elevator leading to our offices.
